Nollywood Actor Ricardo Agbor Survives Severe Ibadan Car Crash

Nollywood actor Ricardo Agbor expressed immense gratitude after walking away from a car crash in Ibadan, Oyo State, that left his silver Lexus SUV severely damaged.

Agbor shared footage of the aftermath in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday. Filming at the scene near the Cornerstone City billboard, he said, “This is my vehicle in front of Cornerstone City, Ibadan.”

The video shows heavy damage to the front of the SUV, with a crushed bonnet, smashed grille, exposed engine components, and a flat front-left tire.

Visibly shaken throughout the video, the actor repeatedly praised God, saying, “This is what just happened to me now.” In his caption, he expressed relief at escaping with his life.

Agbor has not yet disclosed the cause of the accident, whether another vehicle was involved, or if he sustained any injuries.

Colleagues across the film industry—including Sotayo Gaga, Tijani Adekola, Adeniyi Johnson, Fausat Balogun, Toyosi Adesanya, and Kevin Ikeduba—flooded his comment section with prayers and messages of thanksgiving.

Born on February 4, 1973, in Lagos, Agbor hails from Delta State. He studied Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan, the city where the crash occurred. After starting his career as a model, he transitioned into acting in 1992 and rose to prominence with the movie Visa to Hell.

With a career spanning over three decades, Agbor remains one of the few Nollywood actors to work successfully across both English and Yoruba-language productions.
