Names Of Kidnapped NYSC Members Revealed! Heartbreak As Families Discover Truth!

The families of fifteen prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have been plunged into distress following the reported abduction of the graduates while en route from Ibadan, Oyo State, to the NYSC orientation camp in Abia State.

The victims, primarily graduates of the University of Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), were travelling in buses operated by Udua King Transport Services when they were ambushed by suspected gunmen.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday near Ihiala in Anambra State.

The transport company had dispatched four buses for the journey. According to sources, two of the buses managed to evade the attackers, allowing the drivers and 11 passengers to escape. However, the remaining two buses were intercepted, and 15 passengers were taken into the bush by the gunmen.

Victims’ Identities: The transport manifest lists the following individuals as abducted: Akande Kehinde, Olaleye Mary, Oladosu Greatness, Obafunsho Rhoda, Abdulrof Anifat, Esther Oyede, Hassan Usman, Ayomide Isa, Mary Makinde, Azeez Adejoke, Abdulrazaq Anifat, Sarah Temilolu, Adeoye Elizabeth, Eniola Samuel, and Usman Temi.

Anxious parents have since besieged the transport company’s office in the Samonda area of Ibadan, demanding answers.

Mrs. Alimot Akande, a concerned parent, confirmed that her daughter, Kehinde Akande, a LAUTECH graduate, was among those taken. She stated that she had been monitoring the trip, which departed Ibadan on Wednesday. The last communication she received from her daughter was a chilling, brief message sent while the vehicle was travelling between Onitsha and Abia that simply read, “kidnappers!”.
