2027: Yari directs APC PCC directorates to submit work plans without further delay

From Cyril Mbah, Abuja.

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, (APC PCC), Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari, has directed its directorates to come up with work plans on how best to carry out their responsibilities without further delay.

Yari disclosed this while addressing newsmen after the first inaugural meeting of the Directorate held at the Presidential Campaign Office in the Central Business District of Abuja.

According to him, the meeting was a short one focused on operational directives for the campaign structure.
He said the directorates were asked to go and work and return with their work plans and strategies for effective execution of the campaign assignment.

Yari reminded members that they are serving on trust, noting that each person under the roof is a trustee of the President.

He said President Bola Tinubu trusted members of the Council and gave them the responsibility, which must be carried out very well.

Asked about his recent visits to royal palaces in the northern and southern parts of the country and the growing momentum of the consultations, Yari said the engagement with traditional rulers is still ongoing.

He explained that the Council started visiting royal fathers to seek their blessings and prayers ahead of the nationwide campaigns.

He noted that traditional rulers remain the authority closest to the masses and it is important to explain to them where the Council is and where it wants to go.

Yari disclosed that the next phase of the consultative tour will take the team to Katsina on October 24, 2026.
He said from there the journey will continue across the country until January 16, 2027.

The DG expressed confidence that the consultations and campaign activities will yield positive results at the end.
